How to make a printed tee last for years
The fabric almost never fails first. The print does — and nearly always for the same three reasons.
Heat. A hot dryer does more damage in one cycle than twenty cold washes. Dry on low, or hang it in shade.
Friction. Washing a printed tee the right way out drags the print against zips and denim for the whole cycle. Turn it inside-out and the fabric takes that instead.
Ironing straight onto the print. Direct-to-garment ink glazes under a hot plate and never recovers. Flip it first.
Do those three things and a 180 GSM cotton tee will outlast most of what is in your cupboard.
